Expert Information

You Can Trust

Mood Disorder MD specializes in treating depression with a focus on treatment resistant depression. We provide the following services to adults and are currently accepting patients for all services
Initial Diagnostic Consultation
We offer a comprehensive diagnostic consultation with specific and individualized treatment recommendations. This initial consult does not establish care with us and can be used to supplement your care with your existing care team. They can continue to collaborate with our physicians for ongoing expert consultation.
Medication Management
Should you choose us as your provider, we monitor the effectiveness of your medication regimen over a course of time to determine if the treatment meets your goals. Since every individual is unique, the effectiveness of the medications may vary from person to person.
Psychotherapy and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy, in addition to medication, has an excellent track record of helping people manage depression. We primarily offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). KAP is most effective for depression, PTSD, questions on the meaning and purpose of life, end of life issues, self-esteem deficits, and is used in an integrated therapeutic model.
Spravato™ & IV Ketamine
Spravato™ and IV Ketamine are used to treat patients with treatment resistant depression. IV Ketamine and Spravato are administered within our offices where you will be monitored by a psychiatrist and other medical professionals over the course for 90 to 120 minutes.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
TMS, a FDA approved treatment for depression, is a noninvasive form of brain stimulation in which a targeted pulsed magnetic field, similar to what is used in an MRI machine, stimulates areas of the brain that are underactive in depression.
Mindfulness for Depression, Trauma and Anxiety
Meditation and mindfulness are processes that have evidence based positive outcomes to target depression and anxiety. In our eight week course you will learn the tools to the art of being present without judgement. We will introduce or help deepen meditative practices as tools for targeting stress and anxiety.

Here’s what others say:

Mood Disorder MD is a fabulous facility and in a class all of its own. Dr. Harding is so compassionate and knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen which is something new that I have found in the Psychiatric field. Her staff is wonderful and the facility is immaculate, and so peaceful. Dr. Harding has given those of us who suffer from depression, hope which is so needed.
Dr. Harding and her team and so kind, patient and attentive. The office is so beautiful and modern. Speaking with Dr. Harding for 1 hour yesterday to prepare myself for my ketamine/Spravato journey was the most amazing conversation I ever had with a Psychiatrist. She listens whole heartedly, she is honest and real, provides so much information in a simple manner, and answered any question I had. I am so grateful that I found this practice and feel so comfortable in their hands. I highly recommend!!
I would rate this office 100/10 if I could. Dr Harding is so instrumental to the psychiatric specialty. I am so thankful to have fallen under her care almost a year ago. She is not biased, she involves you in your care and she makes you feel like you are more than a number. If you are honest, put in the work and make your care a collaboration instead of a homework assignment, you will go far! Although there is significant improvement to be made, I have made so much improvement being under her care and am firm that my outcomes would not be the same if I worked with another specialist. Her office staff and medical assistant are all wonderful and match her vibe!!!! This is top notch care in the hardest division of healthcare. I am beyond thankful!!
Visiting this office is truly a comforting solace during my ongoing struggle with depression. Everyone here exudes warmth and kindness, and you can tell that they are dedicated to helping you get back on the right track to feeling better. All my questions are always answered patiently and I have never felt unheard or unseen. I feel at ease knowing that my care is in good hands with people who honestly care. Thank you!!
I have been to a few doctors and this atmosphere is private, comfortable and you don't feel rushed. It's always a process and you have to trust it. They will get you to a better space if you do the work and trust the process. Just like everything you have your good and bad days there is no magic pill but here is a good start.
Everyone at the office is AWESOME!!!!. They treat you like family and make you feel comfortable and provide excellent care. They also work with you to help you and make sure you and your mental health come first before all else…Even the anxiety classes and all other programs and resources they offer to help people in need is perfect. I can honestly say unlike many other offices they really put patients first…They break down any questions about medications you may be starting and you never have to second guess….I would highly recommend this office to anyone!
Simply put Dr. Harding is amazing!! She is kind and compassionate, she knows what she’s doing. I have full trust in her. From my very first appointment with her, I was anxious, but I felt comfortable. She takes a lot of precautions before starting you on medication, which helps a lot if you are feeling nervous about starting them or trying something new. She not only listens to you but gives good feedback and always teaches you something. She breaks it down so you fully understand your treatment. Dr. Harding team is also great. Sadia and Patrick are always helpful when booking appointments or helping you out with insurance. Overall they provided a comfortable environment and experience. Highly recommend!!
Love this Group! They are amazing!! Best people I’ve ever met. Great place for treatment. Super comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Words can’t express how Grateful I am. Hope you can experience it for yourself.

15 Minutes Is Not Enough

When patients taIk about past treatments, I often hear, “I don’t know what the doctor said or did, I just know I walked out 15 minutes later with a new med.” Mood Disorder MD takes the exact opposite approach. –

15 minutes may be all it takes to save money on your car insurance. It’s nowhere near what it takes to get to know a patient.
Mood Disorder MD takes time to get to know you, and develop a true diagnosis. We don’t let insurance dictate your time. The diagnosis is the foundation of a patient’s treatment plan. Some things should never be rushed.

Mood Disorder MD talks to all of your doctors…

Yes, all of them.

Depression
Depression is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable.

Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home.

Treatment Resistant Depression
Treatment Resistant Depression is a condition that affects people with major depressive disorder (MDD) who do not respond adequately to a course of medication within a certain time.

Many clinicians consider a response inadequate if the person does not achieve full remission of symptoms. The most common definition for MDD requires a minimum of two prior treatment failures.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress and can alert us to dangers and help us prepare and pay attention. Anxiety disorders differ from normal feelings and involve excessive fear.

Anxiety disorders affect nearly 30 percent of adults at some point in their lives. But anxiety disorders are treatable and treatment helps most people lead normal productive and successful lives.
